William H.T. Lee

William H.T. Lee

Mr. Lee maintains an active practice representing clients in real estate, estate planning, probate, business and contract negotiation, and employment matters in state and federal court. He was admitted to the bar in 2009 and returned to his hometown of Sterling in 2011.

Since returning home, Mr. Lee has developed and grown a robust real estate, estate planning, corporate and transactional practice built on thorough knowledge of the law and keeping his client’s bottom line as the top priority. Mr Lee also regularly handles complex or contested estate, trust and probate matters in Whiteside and surrounding counties.

Mr. Lee also handles and consults on employment law matters in state and federal court representing employees that are victims of discrimination, whistleblower retaliation, and underpaid wages.

Giving back to the Sauk Valley is also important to Mr. Lee. He sits on the Whiteside County Board representing Sterling, Jordan and Genesse Townships located in Eastern Whiteside County. Mr. Lee also has been appointed by Democratic and Republican governors to be the Public Guardian and Public Administrator of Whiteside County since 2012.

When Mr. Lee is not practicing law or spending time with his wife and two children, he is hunting, playing golf or working on his 1876 Victorian Italianate home. If he’s lucky, he gets time with his family in the North Woods near Tomahawk, WI or at his family’s Smoky Mountain cabin in Balsam, NC. Mr. Lee, his wife Tiffany and children (Calvin and Henry) are members of Grace Episcopal Church in Sterling.
